WWW – Wannabe Walden Workshop

Who is this Workshop for?

This workshop is for you if you like the idea about FIRE, but still feels overwhelmed by the investing world.

The main focus of the workshop will be to demystify stock investing and make sure you know what is going on so that you can make your first investment with confidence.

What will you get?

Insights in My Portfolio and Investing Philosophy

I don’t want to retire early to sit in front of the computer and check my stocks. My philosophy is that investing should make room for other things in life.

My approach is minimalistic and is something I rely on based on long term studies, and not my rich uncle’s advice. (I don’t have a rich uncle)

I will open all of my accounts, and show the ups and downs, and how everything works by real-life examples.

Meet Like-Minded People

“You’re The Average Of The Five People You Spend The Most Time With”

– Jim Rohn

This is your chance to bond with like-minded people in person. A forum where people are just as excited to talk about investing as you are.

A Private Facebook Group

FIRE is a lifelong journey. So when you are done with the workshop, you will always have the private Facebook group, where you can continue to ask how people are doing. And make yourself accountable for your long term goal.

Yearly Meet-Up

I don’t think a private Facebook group will cut it.

So that is why I will make a yearly summer Meet Up for every person who has ever attended the workshop.

(Maybe you will meet your FIRE spouse here)

You Will Make Your First Investment

(It is not mandatory)

But I will make sure that you feel fine about making your first investment. I will go through every single step it takes to do that. We will go through the following:

  • How to Invest
  • Why to Invest
  • Where to Invest
  • What to Invest in
  • When to Invest
  • What about taxes?
  • What is a dividend?
  • How much of your time does it take (Much less than you think)
  • And much more!
